Children's Morning School Routine Checklist A great way to reduce the number of things you have to do in the morning, try preparing things the night before. If your child is old enough, you can leave out breakfast foods so your child can make their own breakfast. I used to leave cereal in a plastic baggie, cereal bowl, napkin and spoon out on the counter. I also filled up a large plastic glass with apple juice and a small plastic cup of milk left in the refrigerator. Not only will this free up time in the mornings, but it will give your child a feeling of independence. I usually ended up taking the cereal from the baggy and getting my child's breakfast ready on school mornings -- this just worked best for us :). Here are a just few things you can prepare the night before:
