1-Year Breast Self-Exam Checklist (BSE)
Every woman should perform a BSE as soon as their breasts begin to develop, and continue performing this exam throughout pregnancy and menopause. Men should also perform BSE, as they are also at risk for breast cancer, although at this time the risk is not as great. Read important information from the American Cancer Society: What is Breast Cancer in Men? and Differences Between Male and Female Breast Cancers: Relevance to Early Detection, and All Women at Risk for Developing Breast Cancer.
By performing this easy exam monthly, you'll become familiar with your own body and be more apt to notice any unusual changes. Join with a friend and help each other remember to do their BSE! This checklist will keep track of your BSE's for one full year. Don't miss some helpful information about How to perform a Breast Self-Exam!
