Hall of Shame
Websites that are copying information from PrintableChecklists.com, MyParenTime.com, StopSexOffenders.com, and JupiterParents.com

Much time, effort and research goes into creating our checklists and other information (including parenting and child safety information on our other websites), and once published, every single checklist, article, etc. that has been created by us, is protected by Copyright Law. There are many people who aren't familiar with Internet Copyright Law - then there are those who are familiar with it, and just choose to ignore it.

If you weren't aware, it is against the law to copy something you've seen on someone else's website, and reprint it on your own website, or print them in your print publication, etc. without permission. This is copyright infringement and we ask that you please follow copyright law and do not reproduce our copyrighted checklists on your website, or reprint them in any other media without permission. For those of you who enjoy keeping a list of our checklists on your own website, we ask that you please not make a table of contents with our checklist titles. If you would like to link to a few of our checklists, please link to the main checklist page and please do not link more than 10 or it will infringe on our copyright.

We respond to each and every incident of copyright infringement and report them as such. If you choose to infringe on our copyright, we reserve such right to list your infringement here, along with your domain and link to the infringing page (although we have been nice thus far and have kept domains anonymous). Copyright infringement is against the law -- we thank you for respecting and supporting Internet Copyright Law, and the original works of website owners.

Please help us by reporting a copyright infringement incident.

We would be pleased if you chose to link to any of our checklists, but if you do, please link to our main page, or the main pages of the checklists -- not the actual page that is printed out. Many checklists have descriptions that we prefer readers to see before they print our checklists. The following list includes infringement issues from all of our websites:

Unresolved copyright infringement incidents:

  1. None reported. Please contact us if you happen to see any of our content anywhere else but on our websites (includes articles, checklists, etc).

Outcome: After notification, we received a less-than-pleasant response from the graphic designer, who denied ever having linked directly to the images on our website (bandwidth theft). Simply, this designer viewed our source code, copied exact-sized book images that we have chosen (saved them from our website), including our chosen list of pet books. Phone messages left for the organization's owner went unanswered. Fortunately, we always make hard copies and take screen shots of every single infringement. So...we do have proof of their wrongdoing. In response, the "less-than-pleasant" designer quickly saved all the images to his own server. But he didn't change the names of the images, which just happen to be exactly the same as the names of our own images. Since the theft issue was resolved, this issue has been closed. Any further communication proved a waste of time -- there is just no way to deal with thieves in denial. ISSUE CLOSED.
