Hall of Shame
Did you know that there are actually people who are thinking of using our checklists and other content on My ParenTime's Family Community of Websites without our permission? We hope you're not one of them, but if you are thinking of copying our checklists or other content and using them on your own website, or reprinting them in your print publication without permission...we encourage you to please think again :/.
Much time, effort and research goes into creating our checklists and other information (including parenting and child safety information), and once published, every single checklist, article, etc. that has been created by us, is protected by Copyright Law. There are many people who aren't familiar with Internet Copyright Law - then there are those who are familiar with it, and just choose to ignore it. Please do not reproduce our copyrighted checklists on your website, or reprint them in any other media without permission. If you have reproduced any of our checklists or copied any of our copyrighted works, you will eventually be found, and appropriate procedures will be followed. We respond to each and every incident of copyright infringement and report them as such. If a satisfactory solution is not reached within one month's time, we reserve the right to list your infringement here, along with your domain and link to the infringing page. Copyright infringement is against the law -- we thank you for respecting and supporting Internet Copyright Law, and the original works of website owners.
Please help us by reporting a copyright infringement incident.
We would be pleased if you chose to link to any of our checklists, but if you do, please link to our main page, or the main pages of the checklists -- not the actual page that is printed out. Many checklists have specifications that should be read first.

Outcome: After notification, we received a less-than-pleasant response from the graphic designer, who denied ever having linked directly to the images on our website (bandwidth theft). Simply, this designer viewed our source code, copied exact-sized book images that we have chosen (saved them from our website), including our chosen list of pet books. Phone messages left for the organization's owner went unanswered. Fortunately, we always make hard copies and take screen shots of every single infringement. So...we do have proof of their wrongdoing. In response, the "less-than-pleasant" designer quickly saved all the images to his own server. But he didn't change the names of the images, which just happen to be exactly the same as the names of our own images. Since the theft issue was resolved, this issue has been closed. Any further communication proved a waste of time -- there is just no way to deal with thieves in denial. ISSUE CLOSED.
